I was very happy to be paired with the fabulous Briony for this challenge. She is famous for her love of 'neutrals', which is about as far from my aesthetic as you could get; but we played to each others strengths and created a luxe retirement flat which won us 'Stand Out Space'. Whilst I encouraged her to introduce colour into her rooms, she encouraged me to tone things down and add a neutral wall colour to tie the whole scheme together. My theme was vintage tropical, and I was chuffed to bits with my faux bamboo hack, which you can watch in 'VIDEOS'.
